Writing a spiritual ethical will can be done any time of the year. However, the holiday season is one of the best times to tackle this task. This is because the last couple of months of the year you are already thinking about your past, about your traditions and about fond family and personal memories. Use these things as inspiration for your ethical will.

There are a lot of ways that you can approach your ethical will. The first way is to simply sit down with a pad of paper and a pencil and jot down memories. This option is what is called freestyling or journaling. You can write for as long as you want or you can set a timer so that you write for at least five, ten, fifteen or twenty minutes.

After you have finished with your writing session you will need to go back through what you have written and determine what you want to keep and what you want to get rid of. Then you will need to organize your ideas in some logical manner, such as chronologically. This will help the readers of your ethical will make sense out of the stories that you are telling.

The final draft of your spiritual ethical will is simply the last draft of your document. For most people, there will be no official final draft, as revisions of the ethical will will occur throughout their life. This is because as you mature your life changes and so does your worldview. The revisions process allows your ethical will to evolve with your spirit.

While it is only the first week of November, now is the time to plan out your holiday cards. Personalized holiday cards can be a great way to not only share what’s going on with your family with others, but they can also give you practice writing a spiritual ethical will entry. This week’s entry will focus on writing a holiday letter.

The first step that you need to take to write your holiday letter is to create a recipient list. This list will help you determine what type of information you want to put in your holiday letter. It will also help you to determine how many letters you need to print out.

The next step is to write your introduction. The introduction will be a general holiday greeting followed by a summary of the blessings that you have had in the past year.

The next section of your letter can talk about what each member in your family has been doing, what they accomplished and what they are particularly thankful for.

The final section of the letter will be a paragraph on the holiday wishes you have for the people you are sending your letter to.

As you can see, a holiday letter has a lot of similarities with an ethical letter. This is why writing a holiday letter is good practice for writing your ethical letter.

If you are interested in writing your ethical will or writing your life story, then I recommend the Dan Curtis blog. Great articles and great information.

Today is Halloween and a natural day to think about death and life after death. However, it is also a day to have fun with these concepts. Halloween can be a great day to write an entry for your spiritual ethical will, especially if you are having a party or a family get-together to celebrate this fun holiday.

Writing a Halloween entry for your ethical will can be serious or it can be silly. There are a lot of topics that you can choose to write on. For example, you can write about what your family is doing to celebrate Halloween this year, you can write about the changes that you have made since the last Halloween or you can discuss what’s going on in the world.

Another option that you have for a Halloween ethical will entry is to recount your favorite ghost story. This ghost story can be an Urban Legend, it can be a story that you were told when you were a child or it can even be a real life experience that you have with the supernatural. Your story can be super scary, it can be gory or it can be campy. Have fun with this entry.

At the end of your entry add a date stamp so that you will remember when you wrote it. It is also a good idea to provide readers with a brief statement about why you selected the story and what it means to you, or what lesson it is intended to deliver.

If you are writing both your ethical will and your legal will at the same time then visit the RuleLaw Blog for more information on how to write your last will and testament.

Last week we talked about formatting an ethical letter. This week I’d like to talk about how to format an ethical essay. An ethical essay is just one of many formats that your spiritual ethical will can have. What makes this format unique is that it is generally addressed to a group of people instead of a single person.

The first section of an ethical essay is the introduction. This paragraph or section is going to outline what the reader is going to learn by reading your ethical essay and it is going to highlight what the focus of the essay is. This introduction section also needs to introduce you and your philosophies on life, and possibly even identify who the essay is intended for.

The body of your ethical essay is going to provide details that develop your focus or thesis statement. You can have entries that talk about your life, what you have learned, who you have looked up to, who you have learned from, mistakes that you have made in your life, things that you are proud of or entries on what you have learned about humanity in generally. You may want to divide your ethical essay into several sections, with each main section being dedicated to a specific topic. For example, you may have a section on your biography, a section dedicated to family memories and a section dedicated to historical events that changed how you viewed the world.

The final section of your essay is going to be your conclusion. The conclusion is going to summarize the content in your ethical essay and draw conclusions. It is also the place where you will say your final goodbyes to the people that mean something to you and to the world in general.

If this project has got you thinking about what is going to happen when you pass away then consider working on your last will and testament next. For information on writing a legal will visit Online Wills Advisor. This is a very informative blog.

Over the last couple of weeks we have been talking about how to start writing your spiritual ethical wills. Today’s blog entry is going to be on how to format your ethical will. Formatting is important for your ethical letter or will as it will determine how well or how poorly your heirs understand your content. Today we will be looking at the format of an ethical letter.

An ethical letter has several distinct sections. The first section is going to be your salutation to the person or people the letter is intended for. For example, if you are writing a general ethical letter to all of your heirs, then your salutation will be something like “To My Family” or “To My Loved Ones.” On the other hand, if you want to address all of humanity with your ethical letter your salutation can be something more theatrical such as “To the People of the World.” For ethical letters that are intended for a special someone you will want to be more intimate with your salutations such as “To My Darling Wife” or “To the Love of My Life.”

After your salutation you will write your introduction. The introduction to your ethical letter needs to provide the reader with information about what the letter contains, who it is addressed to and what you want the reader to get from your letter.

The third section of your letter will be ethical will entries. These entries can talk about your philosophies on life, they can address specific incidents, they can be apologies or they can be thank yous.

The final section of your ethical letter is going to be your closing. This section will be the last words you share with the people that you are leaving behind so make them count.

Last week we talked about a few questions that you can ask and answer to help you jump start the writing process. Today’s blog is going to continue this list of questions. The questions in this blog will help you generate ideas for entries in your spiritual ethical will, as well as help you overcome writer’s block.

Question No. 1: What events in your life did you learn important lessons from and what were those lessons?

This question is intended to spark a storytelling session. Your ethical will doesn’t have to be a long narrative, but if you like telling stories about your life then this is the place to do it. When writing your stories start by explaining when it happened, who was involved and where it took place. Then tell your story and wrap up your entry by explaining what you learned.

Question No. 2: Who were the people in your life that you learned the most from?

This question is intended to help you discuss the people in your family, your friends or other important people in your life that you learned from. This question can be a great stimulus for a series of entries. It can also help inspire you to write entries about your family genealogy or your family history.

Question No. 3: What do you know about your family?

If you are interested in making your spiritual ethical will a mini-family history or memoir, then start your ethical letter or will with an introduction about what you know about your family. For example, what parts of the world did they come from, who were your parents, grandparents and great-grandparents and what was your childhood like?

Writing your ethical will can be difficult to do, especially if you don’t have a clue about what you want to write about. This week’s blog is going to help you overcome the hurdles associated with getting started on your spiritual ethical will. This blog will provide you with a list of questions to help get the creative juices flowing.

Question No. 1: Who are the people that mean the most to you?

This question will help you focus your ethical will or ethical letter on the people who are important to you. It will provide you with a list of people to either address in a general spiritual ethical will or to address individually in a series of ethical letters.

Question No. 2: Is there anything you want to say to the people that you are leaving behind?

This question is intended to help you clear the air after you pass away. You can talk about an argument that you had with someone, you can apologize for a wrong that you have committed, you can talk about a regret you may have or you can simply state how much a person meant to you.

Question No. 3: What lessons have you learned in your life?

This is an important question to address in your spiritual ethical will. In most cases this is the question that is going to be the focus of the ethical will or ethical letter. You can talk about lessons you have learned about human nature, about humanity or about life in general. Dig deep when you answer this question. The answer will help the people you leave behind to live a better life.

The number one and number two reasons why most people don’t sit down and write their ethical wills are because they either think that it is too difficult or too boring. You can overcome both of these obstacles by having an ethical will party. This may seem like a strange party theme to have, but it can be a lot of fun.

The first step in throwing an ethical will party is to find either a teacher to lead the group, or to find a guidebook your guests can follow. If you aren’t going to use an ethical will expert to guide your party, then you are the expert. This means that you will need to read through ethical will how-to books and ebooks, learn the history behind the ethical letter and come up with a party format for writing ethical wills as a group activity.

The supplies that you will need for your ethical will party will include paper, pens/pencils, photocopies of sample ethical wills and photocopies of a checklist for the steps of writing an ethical will. You will also need snacks, drinks and party favors.

The people that you will want to invite to your party will have a similar spiritual philosophy as you do and will be interested in writing ethical wills. This doesn’t mean that you can only invite people from your church or synagogue. You can invite anyone you want that you think will enjoy an evening of sharing, laughing and writing.

If you need an example of spiritual ethical wills, or more information about writing an ethical will then try Your Ethical Will blogspot. This blog offers you a lot of good information about the process of writing an ethical will.

While there is nothing wrong with simply writing an ethical letter, if this format is not your style you do have other options. There are many different ways to format your ethical will. Some formats are written, some are visual and others are musical. The choice is yours. This is your final message to the world so infuse it with your personality and spirit.

One option that you have is to utilize online resources like the When Words Matter blog to find writing projects that you can focus as an ethical will. Writing projects can be poems, short narratives or even biographies. These projects will allow you to express yourself, create a personal history and create a physical product that you can pass down to people that are important to you.

Another option that you have is to create a visual work of art. This project option will allow you to tap your creativity to create a visual representation of your love, hopes and dreams for the future of the world and the people that you love. Visual projects that you can use for your spiritual ethical will include: paintings, collages, photo collages, family trees and drawings. Needlework and quilts can also be used as a visual project for your ethical will.

In addition to the alternative spiritual ethical will projects, you can also complete the traditional will projects. Traditional will projects include ethical letters and full scale ethical wills. Even if you plan on completing a creative ethical will project, it is a good idea to start with at least an ethical letter. After writing this letter you can use its components to transcribe their meanings to a visual work or art or to a creative writing project.

If you have been following this blog on spiritual ethical wills then you have read about many different projects that you can complete. At this point you have all the background information that you need to understand what an ethical will is and what formats they can take on. However, like most complex projects you may still need a little guidance on to execute the writing of your ethical wills.

The first resource that you can use to help you write your ethical will is a spiritual ethical will eBook. These guides will walk you through the brainstorming process, the writing process, the editing process and the finalization process. This is one of the most valuable resources you can purchase. Not only will it provide you with guidance, but it will also provide you with samples and examples of ethical wills that you can learn from.

Another good resource for writing your ethical will is to find examples of them online. Ethical wills have been used for hundreds, if not thousands of years, so you will have many historical as well as contemporary examples to choose from. When you read these ethical wills not only listen to what the writer is saying, but how they are saying it. Also look at how they speak directly to a specific person and how they impart their wisdom to that person. Finally, examine how the ethical will is designed as a guide for the rest of the person’s life. This is one of the most important aspects of an ethical will.
